Terms of Service

Hades Store

Purpose

These Terms govern access to and use of the game server and the purchase of digital content through Hades Store.

Unofficial Nature of the Service

The Administration is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or otherwise connected to the official publisher of the game or the holders of its intellectual property rights. This is an independently run, community-managed project. All original trademarks, names, and content of the game remain the property of their respective owners.

Age Requirements

Use of the server and purchase of digital content are restricted to adults under the law of their country of residence. Minors may use the service and make purchases only with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility. By registering or purchasing, the user confirms they meet this requirement.

Nature of the Service

The service is provided "as is," without guarantee of continuity, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. The Administration does not guarantee the server will remain active for any specific period and reserves the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue it at any time, with or without notice. No automatic refund is provided for content already delivered in case of permanent closure.

Purchases

Purchases are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Purchased items are tied exclusively to the associated game account and hold no value outside the server.

User Conduct

The following is prohibited: exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities for unintended advantages; offensive, discriminatory, or harmful behavior toward other players or staff; reselling, transferring, or trading accounts or items outside official channels; using cheats, bots, or unauthorized third-party software.

Suspension and Bans

The Administration reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account, at its discretion, for violations of these Terms, fraudulent behavior (including chargeback abuse on correctly delivered purchases), or conduct harmful to the community. A ban does not automatically entitle the user to a refund.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Administration is not liable for loss of data, progress, or items due to technical malfunctions, maintenance, or server closure; indirect or consequential damages; or interruptions caused by third parties.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use after changes are published constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable European Union law, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the user's country of residence.

Data Collected

• Account/game data: username, account ID, purchase history
• Contact data: email address provided during registration or purchase
• Payment data: handled entirely by our payment processor — the Administration does not receive or store card details or payment instruments, only confirmation of payment and amount
• Technical data: IP address, server connection logs, browsing data
• Data from third-party platforms: if a user connects via Discord, Discord ID and username are processed as made available by that platform

Purposes of Processing

Data is processed to provide access to the server and purchased content, process payments and deliver purchased items, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Legal Basis

Processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interest (fraud prevention, service security), and consent (for optional communications, where applicable).

Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and for the period required by applicable legal obligations. Technical logs are retained for a limited period unless a longer period is required for security purposes.

Sharing Data with Third Parties

Payment-related data is shared exclusively with our payment processor, in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

User Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.

Minors

Access to the store and the purchase of digital content are restricted to adults under the law of their country of residence, or to minors with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for the purchase. We do not knowingly collect data from unauthorized minors and will remove such data if we become aware of it.

Refund Policy

Hades Store

Nature of Purchases

Purchases made on Hades Store consist of digital content delivered immediately (in-game items and cosmetics).

Waiver of the Right of Withdrawal

Under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (Article 16(m)), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied on a non-material medium, when performance has begun with the consumer's express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of that right.

By completing a purchase and confirming the dedicated checkbox at checkout, the user expressly requests immediate performance of the purchased digital content and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once it has been delivered.

General Policy

Except as provided below, all purchases are final and non-refundable, as content is delivered instantly upon payment.

Exceptional Cases

The Administration reserves the right, at its sole and case-by-case discretion, to review refund requests for extraordinary situations, including but not limited to:

• a proven double charge due to a technical error
• failure to deliver purchased content due to a system malfunction attributable to us
• a clearly unauthorized purchase (proven third-party fraud)

Reviewing such requests does not set a binding precedent for future cases. Requests must include proof of purchase (receipt or transaction ID).

Chargebacks

Users are encouraged to contact support first in case of issues, before opening a dispute with their bank or payment provider. Opening a chargeback for content that was correctly delivered may result in suspension or a permanent ban of the associated game account, pursuant to the Terms of Service.
